Albert Buckalew, 72, of 23 White St., Shrewsbury, died Tuesday afternoon. He was born at Clarksburg, son of the late George and Mary Parker Buckalew. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Theresa Lane Buckalew; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Harris of South Amboy and Miss Ruth Buckalew, living at home; six sons, George and Thomas Buckalew, both of Red Bank, Charles and Paul Buckalew, both living at home, Leon Buckalew of Tinton Falls and Harry Buckalew of Colt's Neck; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Collins of Freehold, Mrs. Joseph Pullen of Hightstown and Mrs. Charles Ely of Cranbury, and a brother, Arthur Buckalew of Holmeson.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the late residence. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, under direction of the John E. Day funeral home. Rev. Dunham V. Reinig, pastor of Eatontown Methodist church, will officiate. Red Bank Register, Thurs., June 30, 1949
