"Frank Brune, 91, Brinktown, died Thursday at Memorial Community Hospital. He was born Feb. 2, 1900, in Brinktown, a son of Peter and Philomena Bauer Brune. He was a lifelong resident of Brinktown and retired from farming in 1977. He was a member of Knights of Columbus in Brinktown. Survivors include: three brothers, Al Brune, Joseph Brune and Phillip Brune, all of Brinktown; and two sisters, Anna Brune and Hilda Winkelman, both of Brinktown. Services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Guardian Angel Church, Brinktown. The Rev. Joseph Boland will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Saturday at the Long Funeral Home, Vienna, where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Guardian Angel Cemetery Association."
