Jefferson City Post-Tribune, Jefferson City, Missouri - Peter Brune, of Brinktown, dies at age 101 - Peter Brune, 101, one of Maries County's oldest residents, died at his home in Brinktown Wednesday. He was a retired Farmer. Mr. Brune was born May 20, 1867 at Rich Fountain, son of Peter and Josephine Dieke Brune. On April 24, 1894, he was married to Mrs. Philomena Bauer. Surviving are five sons, Adam Brune, Lola Kan.; Frank Brune, Aloysius Brune, Joe Brune and Phillip Brune, all of Brinktown. Two daughters, Miss Anna Brune, and Mrs. Hilda Winkleman. Both of Brinktown. Twenty-five grandchildren and 59 great grandchildren survive. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church, Brinktown. The Rev. Richard Reichling officiating. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today and Friday at the Birmingham Funeral Home, Vienna. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Catholic Church Cemetery.
