Jerry O. Dining, Billett, IL, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at his residence. He was 73. He was born on October 28, 1937, in St. Francisville, IL a son of Herman O. and Nomah (Gher) Dining. He married Linda Ammon on February 16, 1957 at the United Methodist Church in St. Francisville. He was the owner and operator of Dining's Home Oil Company established in 1985. He was a member of the Billett United Methodist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge of Lawrenceville, IL. Survivors include his wife Linda; three sons, Robert L. Dining, Billett, Mark R. Dining, Lawrenceville and Brian Dining, Billett; two brothers, Bobby H. Dining and wife, Mary K., Billett, John R. Dining and wife, Carolyn, Billett; a sister, Doris Archibald and husband, Jack, Lawrenceville; four grandchildren, Angie D. Tracy and husband, Rob, Lawrenceville, Chris R. Dining and wife, Toni M., Billett, Calton M. and Bailey S. Dining, Billett; three great-grandchildren, Rowe B., Reese D. Tracy, Lawrenceville and "Little" Jerry Dining, Billett. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Evelyn Clark. Funeral services were held at the Billett United Methodist Church in Billett on Saturday, August 27th. Burial followed in the Billett Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Francisville Christian Academy in life of flowers. Glasser Funeral Home in Bridgeport was in charge of arrangements
