So, according to this article in the Sedalia Democrat, 1964, George Cathey is neither buried in Crown Hill OR Union-Williams. He may, according to the article, be buried in an unmarked grave with his wife in Providence Baptist Church area, in Pettis County. There is no records so far of him living in Benton County at all. Other articles show he was buried in Pettis County too.

Son of George and Margaret Cathey. Husband of Margaret Chamberlain. His name is spelled Cathy on his stone, but I believe the correct spelling was Cathey.

The 1840 Missouri state census lists George Cathey, living in Flat Creek, Pettis County, Missouri, age 85. He and his family had moved to Missouri, settling in Cooper County. He was living with a daughter in Pettis County in the 1840 census.

Revolutionary War Vet. Has a another military stone in Union-Williams Cemetery outside of Cole Camp, Missouri, that is a cenotaph.

There was a third child named Nancy Cathey McFarland (b. Jan 1, 1780) (Memorial #141177425) so a middle child. She married Jacob McFarland (b. Feb 21, 1772). (Memorial #122685375).
