Wednesday morning at 6:30 o'clock occurred the death of Mrs. Lavina Reed, one of the oldest and most highly respected residents of Hope. She was seventy years of age and most of her life was spent in Hawcreek Township.
She is survived by four children. Funeral Friday at 2:30 from the Moravian Church, conducted by Rev. Crider.
