Claud Alsup, 82 died Thursday in Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus. He was a son of John Nolin Alsup and Henrietta McClanahan. He was married to Mattie McGath on 13 Jul 1946. They had no children, but one foster daughter, Joyce Ardell Housman. He is survived by his wife Mattie, a grandson they raised, Claude Bockhold and wife Debi and their son Quinton of Olathe, KS, a granddaughter they raised, Lisa Bockhold and her son Martin of Hernando, MS; two sisters, Myrtle Spurlock of Puxico, and Nellie Wagner of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Louis Alsup of Williamsville.
