William R. Sampson, 75, of 3030 NW 18, died at his home Thursday. Services will be 10 am Saturday in Guardian Funeral chapel. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Sampson came to Oklahoma City in 1927 and was employed by Haliburton Department Store until he became ill three years ago. He first moved to Oklahoma in 1904, establishing a residence in Muskogee, Indian Territory. He was a Mason and a member of the Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ila, of the home; son, Owen R., Bethany; two brothers, Rolla B., Fulton, MO; and Montie, Muskogee; and one grandchild.
