Zealia Estelle Sampson was the daughter
of William Butler Sampson and Roxann Robinson.
She was married to: Curtis C. Holt.
Their children were:
Clifford C. Holt and Clayton S. Holt.

Obit: Mrs. Zealia Holt dies on Monday, passed away suddenly at Callaway Hospital on day she was expected dismissal:

Mrs. Zealia Holt, 53 years old, widow of Curtis Holt, died suddenly at 8:30 Monday morning at the Callaway Hospital in Fulton. She had under gone an operation, appendectomy, a week ago and apparently was recovering rapidly. She expected to be dismissed from the hospital Monday afternoon. (She died of a pulmonary Embolism)

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon at Boydsville Christian Church by the Reverend Dr. W. Garnet Alcorn, paster of the Fulton Church. Burial in Boydsville Cemetary.

Arrangements were under the direction of Leo Wallace Funeral Home.

Mrs Holt was a daughter of William Butler and Roxann (Robinson) Sampson. she was born June 3, 1884, on a farm north of Carrington and spent much of her life in that community. She was married December 18, 1906 to Curtis C. Holt, who died in 1925 from injuries recieved when he was kicked by a horse.

Mrs. Holt and sons moved to Fulton after the death of her husband and three years ago moved to Columbia. She was a member of the Boydsville Christian Church.

Surviving are two sons, Clifford C and Clayton S. Holt, four brothers, Ernest E. Sampson and Rolla E. Sampson of Fulton, Montie sampson of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Roy Sampson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

A sister, Mrs. H.J. King, died several weeks ago.

Friends of the family extend sincere sympathy in this hour of bereavement.

Zealia Estelle Holt, 53, of Columbia, died at 8:45am on August 16, 1937 at Callaway County Hospital.

Dr. H.M. Bankhead, of Fulton, pronounced death caused by Pulmonary embolism contributed to by Pelvic Aspiration. An Appendectomy was performed on August 12, 1937. The informant was Rolla Sampson, Fulton.

Mrs. Holt was born June 30, 1884, in Callaway County, the daughter of W.B. and Roxie (Robinson) Sampson. She was united in marriage to Curtis C. Holt and he preceded her in death on September 12, 1925. Mrs. Holt was a housewife.

Arrangements were under the care of Leo G. Wallace of Fulton. Burial was in the Boydsville Cemetery.
