Damien Hayden Buckler, Jr., age 85, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at Taylor Regional Hospital, Campbellsville. Born June 22, 1926, in Marion County, he formerly operated Buckler Refrigeration, Inc. and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Damian Haydon and Emma Katherine Dant Buckler; three sisters, Mayola Graves, Inez Mattingly and Katherine Boldrick; and two brothers, Charles Hayden Buckler and Joseph Lancaster Buckler. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Jeanne Howard Buckler; three sons, Richard and John Buckler both of Lebanon and Tony Buckler of Bardstown; three daughters, Margaret Blanford (Paul) of Lebanon, Marian Caldwell (Billy) and Mary Ellen Wright (Ricky), both of Calvary; 10 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-stepgrandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Lebanon, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Gerald L. Bell will be the celebrant. Visitation is 4-9 p.m. Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday by Deacon Dennis May. Pallbearers are Judge-Executive John G. Mattingly, Hunter Lyvers, Bo Wright, Billy Caldwell, Kyle Wright and Ritchie Buckler.
