Billy, her son, wrote that his mother gave her life, as a housewife, nursing her mother and her mother's two sisters. She loved to come out to the farm in Eads/Arlington every weekend, and had her hands full looking after Billy and his sisters. She did a lot of work at St. John's in Memphis in the Guild. She sewed beautifully - doilies and crocheted bedspreads. She was on the quiet side, and very devoted to her family.
