The Oklahoman, Sep 26, 1952: Asa Faulkner, 78, of 1139 N. Walnut, died Thursday morning in St Anthony Hospital. He had been in ill health the past two years. A native of McMinnville, TN, Faulkner had lived in Oklahoma City about 15 years. Before moving here he had been engaged in the clothing manufacturing business in Birmingham, AL. He was a member of St Luke's Methodist Church. Services will be Friday at 2 pm in Guardian Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Lula, of the home; son, Carl, of the home; daughter, Mrs J. S. Nelson, 2317 E. Madison; 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
