William A. Alexander Dies
William Ashford Alexander, 71, died Saturday night, June 12, at his home one mile north of Woodburn. He was born in Henderson, Ky., June 13, 1877, and came to Woodburn from Montana 23 years ago. He was a member of the Woodburn Christian church and the Farmers' Union. Survivors are his wife, Eula Dilley Alexander of Woodburn; brothers, G.M. Alexander of Bandon and Clarence H. Alexander of Atlanta, Ga.; half-brothers, Ralph O. Alexander of Robards, Ky., and H. C. Alexander of Henderson, Ky.; and a stepsister, Mrs. Katherine Ashby of Atlanta, Ga. The body was shipped to Bandon for services and interment by the Ringo mortuary.

Graveside services are being conducted by the Rev. C. L. Nichols of the Church of God today (Thursday) at 4 p.m. for W. A. Alexander of Woodburn. Schroeder Bros. were in charge.
Alexander was born in Kentucky in 1877. He had lived in Woodburn the past 25 years.
Deceased is survived by his wife, Eula, and a brother, George M. Alexander, Bandon.
