Flora Etta Woods was the youngest Daughter of Joseph William and Cenia Alabama Sims Woods.

She moved to Somerville, Burleson, Texas from Wesley, Washington County, Texas at an early age. She graduated high school there and went to college. After getting her degree, she taught school and was volleyball coach.

She married Charles Stillwell Myers on Jun 16, 1928. They made there home in Bryan, Brazos, Texas. Charlie as Charles was known, ran the hotel in downtown Bryan. They were members of First Baptist Church in Bryan.

They had 2 sons: Charles Stillwell Myers, Jr and William Allen 'Bill' Myers.

Flora was a member of DAR.
