I don't know why Andrew's siblings are marked as half-siblings (I didn't mark them that way)! They were all from the same parents. I also think that the broken grave marker in this cemetery that just says "Shaw," with the first name illegible, was probably Andrew's original tombstone. The age for the person whose stone this is corresponds pretty exactly with his age at death (he died just about 3 weeks before his 36th birthday)He died 50 years before his wife did, and I think this granite marker was laid when she died in 1922There is a stone marker for the graves of Andrew ("A.J.") Shaw and his wife, Henrietta Dunbar Shaw. I believe that marker was laid close to the time of her death in 1922. Andrew died 50 years earlier, a few days before his 36th birthday. Since I don't know of any other Shaws who died at this age, and because the stone is of the right "vintage," I am saying this is Andrew Shaw's original monument.
