Dora Lee Harper, 85, of Star City, died Sunday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. She was born November 30, 1924 in Lincoln County to the late Newton and Alice Divine Bridges. She was a member of Lone Grove Missionary Baptist Church near Star City.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, Ernest Harper; and two daughters, Ernestine Harper and Edna Lou Owen.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Newman of Star City; 2 grandchildren, Carol Lee Tucker of Cornerville, Stacie Lytle of Monticello; and 5 great grandchildren; Eric Tucker, Phillip Tucker Jr., Jerry Tucker, Daniel Tucker and Joshua Lytle.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City. Bro. Tom Lamb will officiate. Burial will be in Leek Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
