Mrs. Edna E. Sproul
Mrs. Edna E. Sproul, 81, former Topekan, died Saturday at her home in Parsons.
Born July 4, 1874, at Mound City, she moved to Parsons in 1953 from Topeka. She was an employee of the Crosby Bros. store while here. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph A. Sproul of Kansas City, Mo., and Paul H. Sproul of Parsons; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Hallam of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Margaret Johnson of Los Angeles, Mrs. Nellie Spinks of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Ruby Vertrees of Brownsville, Tex.; two brothers, Irving K. Campbell of Altadena, Calif., and Roland Campbell of Port Isabel, Tex.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel funeral home with burial in Mount Hope cemetery.
