David Barton, age 54, for several years a prominent jeweler here, died at the home of his mother, Mrs. Hettie Harte, Saturday evening after an illness of three weeks.
The deceased is survived by the widow, Dora Barton, one daughter, Mrs. Harry McCormick of New Castle and two sons, Clyde and Ray.
The funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. L. E. Marken of the M.E. church in charge.
Interment took place at the Miller cemetery.
