MARTZ - U. J. Martz, sixty-two, Denver, formerly of Waverly, died at his home in Denver Saturday. He went to Denver in 1907 and was in the lumber business. He is survived by his wife, Catherine, two daughters, Mrs. Amy Hankins, Los Angeles; Ruth Clenens, Denver; two brothers, I. L., of Denver; Charles of Waverly; a sister, Mrs. H. L. Negus, Bethune, Colo., and two grandchildren. The body will arrive in Lincoln at 1;30 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at the grave at Waverly at 3 p.m. Tuesday in charge of Castle, Roper & Matthews'.
