Charles B. Martz Dies, Waverly Lumberman Lifelong Resident of That Town Was Widely Known in Masonic Circles.
Charles Blaine Martz, 50, Waverly Lumberman and widely known in Lincoln Masonic Circles, died at his home in Waverly at 10 o'clock Friday morning. Born at Waverly, he had lived there all his life, and had been in the lumber business there for the past 30 years.
He was a member of Unity Lodge, No. 163, A.F.&A.M. at Greenwood. He belonged to the Lincoln consistory and to the Lincoln Shrine. He was also a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge and of the Modern Woodmen of America. Mr. Martz was a member of the Waverly Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda; a daughter Eunice, at home; a sister, Mrs. E. W. Negus of Waverly and a brother, I. L. Martz of Denver. The body is at Castle, Rogers and Matthews Mortuary.
