Ruby Uber

Ruby Uber, 83, Joplin, died at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 1998, at her home after a sudden illness.

Mrs. Uber was born Jan. 15, 1915, at Galena, Kan.

She had lived in Joplin since 1948, moving from Galena.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Assemblies of God.

She married Oscar Uber on Dec. 15, 1934, at Galena. He died Aug. 11, 1989.

Survivors include a daughter, Marlene Sue Martin, Claremore, Okla.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary with the Rev. Travis Terry officiating.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Galena.

Pallbearers will be John Silvey, Tim Woodall, Junior Beeler, William Couch, Glen Wren and Phil Erwin.
