ATCHISON, Kan. -- Cecelia C. Burg, 88, Atchison, formerly of Effingham, Kan., died Friday, July 16, 1999, at an Atchison health-care center.
Miss Burg had worked at Candreia Cafe and had been a housekeeper and assistant to the elderly in Effingham.
Born Dec. 18, 1910, in Effingham, she attended St. Ann's School, Effingham.
Miss Burg was a member of St. Ann's Church and St. Ann's Altar Society, of the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Caroline; and 15 brothers and sisters.
Surviving: several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, St. Ann's Catholic Church, Effingham. Burial: St. Ann's Church Cemetery, Effingham. A parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday, O'Trimble Funeral Home, Effingham, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday.
