Margaret Stoltz Herman, passed away Saturday March 15, 2008, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Forsyth County on Feb. 8, 1923, to Oscar P. and Susan Fulp Stoltz. She retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. after 37 years. Margaret was a member of Walkertown First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Herman and her son, Billy Herman. Also preceding her were a sister, Barbara Hutchins and four brothers, Earl, Ed, Phillip and Howard Stoltz. She is survived by a brother, Aubrey Stoltz (Jean) of Walkertown and two sisters, Ruth Mabe (Denson) of Walkertown and Jean Boyles (Bobby) of Walnut Cove. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends whom she loved very much. Margaret loved to travel and made many friends through the years in her trips to many places. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, at Walkertown First Baptist Church with the Rev. Philip Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
