Alta Marie went by the name Marie. She had the following known siblings:

John W. Hatfield 1889-1902

Herldan Glen Hatfield 1899-1979

In about 1926, Marie married Burton Franklin "Burt" McIvor from Canada. He was 15 years her senior. They had the following known children:

Martha McIvor 1928-1941

The McIvor family made their home in Alameda County, California where Burt owned McIvor's Blacksmith Shop and McIvor's Hardware Shop in Fremont, California.

Sadly, the McIvors' daughter Martha died when she was only 13, and Mary Ann also died at age 19 in an auto accident.

Marie died in 1960 and Burt in 1965. Both are buried in the Great Mauseleum, Palm Corridor, Crypt 511 (Marie) and 512 (Burt), Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose, California.
