Graveside services for Robert M. Lackey Sr., 57, of 941-17th St., Newport News, who died Monday night in Mary Immaculate Hospital, will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, in Peninsula Memorial Park by the Rev. H. Walton, pastor of Bethany Methodist Church.
Mr. Lackey was a native of Rockbridge County and had been a resident of Newport News for the past 19 years. A member of the Second Presbyterian Church, he was employed as a salesman for the Merrimac Motors, Inc., Hampton, for 12 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Frances Rodrick Lackey; two sons, Robert M. Lackey Jr. of Hawaii and William F. Lackey of Baltimore; three daughters, Mrs. O.L. Haughwout, Mrs. Paul A. Folwell and Mrs. Paul G. Sandefur, all of Hampton; two brothers, J.H. Lackey of Lexington and Charles E. Lackey of Hampton; one sister, Miss Kathrine Lackey of Hollywood, Calif., and 15 grandchildren.
