Anne Cooper Williams, 88, of Jacksonville, died Sept. 6, 2011, at Onslow Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Williams was born in Onslow County to the late Gordon and Mary Sutton Cooper and also was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with the Rev. W. Christopher Aydlett Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Jacksonville City Cemetery.

Survivors include her son, Gary Bennett Williams and his wife Linda of Jacksonville; two sisters, Mary Nelson and Rebecca Nelson, both of Jacksonville; her grandson, Gregory Williams of Raleigh; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 8 at Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 301 Marine Blvd, Jacksonville, NC 28540
