LEXINGTON – Services for Grover Elco Bedwell, 56, were today at Pafford Funeral Home with the Rev. Connie V. Burton officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery. Mr. Bedwell died Thursday at Lexington-Henderson County General Hospital after a short illness. He was a World War II veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and was a Mason. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Magdaline Ament Bedwell of Lexington; two sons, Jerry Bedwell of Lexington and Larry Bedwell of Martin; three daughters, Mrs. Jamie Fullington of Jackson, Mrs. Carol Crawford of Darden and Miss Rachel Bedwell of Lexington; his father, Pony Bedwell of Lexington; two brothers, Neafie Bedwell of Lexington and Edward Bedwell of Graham, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Nell Moody of Lexington and seven grandchildren. - The Jackson Sun, 20 Feb 1976
