Daniel Omolewu age 38, of Xenia, passed away August 27, 2011 unexpectedly at his residence. He was born July 29, 1973 in Lagos, Nigeria, the son of Dr. Gabriel and Elizabeth Omolewu.

He is survived by his parents, sisters: Margaret Keita of Atlanta, GA; Sarah Omolewu of DuBai, United Arab Emirates; Rachel Omolewu of Xenia; and Deborah Omolewu of NC; and brothers: Samuel (Tosin) Omolewu of Philadelphia, PA and Jacob Omolewu of Xenia.

He was a graduate of Central State University. He had formerly been employed with Boeing in St. Louis, MO and was promoted to a management position. Currently he was the co-owner with his mother of Heavenly Glory Contracting and Roofing Co.

Funeral services were held 11 AM Friday, September 2, 2011 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia, Rev. Dr. Daniel Iselaiye officiating.

Interment to follow in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. Friends may call Friday from 10 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.mccolaughfuneralhome.com.
