Mrs. Henry Senne, Sr. died at her home, Sunday, July 13, at 4:45 o'clock p.m. Her death was a great shock, and caused the entire community to go into mourning. At the time of her death Grandmama Senne was 63 years, 5 months and 17 days old. She was a kind-hearted woman, beloved, honored and respected by all those who knew her. She leaves, besides her husband, six daughters and three sons, Mrs. Henry Hartman, Mrs. Geo. Leinweber, Mrs. John Herzing, Jr., Mrs. Jacob Karm, Mrs. Hugo Zinsmeister, Miss Emma Senne and Messrs. Henry, Charles and Fritz Senne, and many more relatives and friends to mourn her untimely death. Her remains were laid to rest Monday morning at ten o'clock, in the New Fountain cemetery, where a large concourse of sorrowing friends and relatives followed them to their last resting place.
