Surviving are a daughter, Jean Ferrell of Columbia City; sons, Richard E. Sr. of Fort Worth, Texas, and Robert L. of Decatur; sisters, Christine Crawford of Columbia City, Melvene Ahlersmeyer of Fort Wayne and Arlene Simpson of Nappanee; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services are 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City, where calling is 2 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
