On last Saturday evening, Joe Jackson's wife, who resides about 2 miles east of Dana, in Helt Township, prepared supper and partook of a hearty meal, being in her usual health. A short time later after supper, she took violently ill, and before 12 o'clock at night she was a corpse. She was a lady about 50 years of age, and was esteemed very highly by her neighbors.
