Old Settler Dead
Mrs. Sarah Noonan, old settler of Aledo county, died at her home in Aledo early this morning. The deceased was born in Ireland on June 15, 1842, and came to this country at the age of seven. For the past 17 years she has been a resident of Aledo, before that she had lived on a farm 2 ½ miles west of Aledo.
Mrs. Noonan was married to Timothy Noonan in 1861. Mr. Noonan preceded her in death 15 years. Surviving are five children, William and Edward of Aledo; John of Ruth, Nevada; Mrs. Mary Mosely of New Boston, Ill, and Mrs. Nellie Mack of Iola, Ill.
The funeral will probably be held Thursday from the home at 9:30 with interment in Millersburg, Ill.
