Mrs. Augusta Boeche Dead
Had Been a Resident of Iowa Since 1887.
Had Been Ill Since April 1
Mrs. Augusta Boeche died at the family home south west of Mapleton Tuesday evening following an illness of several days. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at St. John's M.E. Church at 2 o'clock to be conducted by the Rev. W. S. Handy. The interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Boeche passed her eighty-first birthday January 3, last, having been born in Bromberg, East Prussia, Jan. 3, 1838. In 1865 she was married to Julius Boeche and to their union were born six children one died in infancy. In 1869 the family came to America. The family home was established at Fulton, City, Ill. where they remained for seventeen years. In 1882 they came to Iowa.
The surviving children are Mrs. Don Jones, Anthon; Oscar Bennington, Nebr.; Henry, Kansas City; Louis Mapleton and Arthur on the home place.
During her last illness and for some time before Mr. Boeche suffered from partial blindness. During this time she was cared for by her son and her granddaughter, Miss. Edna Boeche.

Children: Hattie 1866-1929 (1. Mrs. John F. Mathews, 2. Mrs. Don Jones), Oscar William Baker 1868-1938, Henry J. Baker 1873-?, Twin Son Boeche1875-1875, Arthur Boeche 1875-1945, Ludwig Leopold Boeche 1877-1955
Some of the family used the name of Boeche and others used Baker
