STACYVILLE - Funeral services for Matilda Adams, 67, were held Monday morning at Visitation Catholic Church here. Burial was in the church cemetery with Grossmann-Hage Funeral Home, Charles City, in charge. The daughter of the late John and Mary Adams, she was the last surviving member of her family. Three brothers, Michael, Martin and Joseph were drowned several years ago. Also preceding her in death were three sisters, Mrs. Peter (Eva) Stoltzenberg, Austin MN; Mrs. Harve (Lizzie) Miller, Watertown WI; and Frances, of Stacyville. Miss Adams died Friday afternoon at the Welcome Haven Rest Home, Charles City, where she had been a patient the last three years. Surviving are nieces and nephews.
