Louis A. Biggs, 94, died Dec. 27 in Albuquerque, N.M.
He was born on Aug. 1, 1898, to Harvey and Frances (Garity) Biggs at Pass Creek. He attended Meadow Lark School and was known as a lover of riding broncos. He married Lena Forswall on April 18, 1923. They owned and operated the Liberty Dairy in Bozeman and then farmed at Salesville (Gallatin Gateway) until moving to Springhill, where they also farmed. They later moved to a farm on Airport Road.
Lena died in 1970, and Louis married Ruby Mulligan in 1971. She died in 1989. He like to hunt and fish and enjoyed making a career out of farming.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 11 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Dokken-Nelson Funeral Home.
