Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie McConnell, 90, Clinton, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Kern-Schneider-Kiesau Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Clinton.
Mrs. McConnell died Friday at the Clinton Regional Hospital. She was born on Sept. 18, 1895 in Linville, Ky. to George and Anna Mae Hawpe. She had lived in Foss for nine years before moving to Geary in 1981. In 1984, she moved from Geary to Clinton. In 1920, she was married to Ray McConnell, who preceded her in death in 1969.
Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Merle of Watonga and Roy of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Ella Mae Schovanec of Sherman, Texas and Barbara Falkenberg of Haysville, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Roberta Reed and Mrs. Rudell Blurton, both of Oklahoma City; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.
