ALBERT R. HAWPE

Albert R. Hawpe, 74, 1604 South Sixth, a retired grocery man, died at 2 a.m. today in Grady Memorial Hospital. He was born March 20, 1893 in Lynnville, KY.

He was married August 30, 1912 in Verden to the former Miss Fannie Mae Brush. He came to Chickasha in March of 1944. He was a member of the North Side Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Fannie Mae, of the home; five sons, Alfred and Allen of Chickasha; Alvin E. of Elgin, Aubrey of Wichita, Kan. and Adrian M. of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Molina of Los Angeles, Calif.; his mother, Mrs. Annie Hawpe of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Forrest and Charlie of Los Angeles, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Ray McConnell of Geary, Mrs. Lucille Gibson of Phoenix, Ariz; Mrs. R. J. Reed and Mrs. Jack Blurton of Oklahoma City; 24 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are pending at the North Side Church of Christ. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Brown Funeral Home.
