Darrel E. Snyder, 65, Coeur d'Alene, died Tuesday at the VA Hospital in Spokane.
Born Oct. 17, 1921, in Coeur d'Alene, to John and Beula Lind Snyder, he served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He worked as a salesman for Snap On Tools for several years. He moved back to Coeur d'Alene six years ago after living in Portland and Los Angeles.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine, at home; two sons and a daughter; brother Frank Snyder of Coeur d'Alene, John Snyder of Pomona, Calif., and Ralph Snyder of Snohomish; a sister; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery.
