Mrs. Bell McCormick Dies; Funeral Rites Tomorrow
Word was received here Tuesday evening of the death of Mrs. Bell (Ferris) McCormick, widow of the late John McCormick, who died at the home of her daughter, in Indianapolis, following a long illness. She had been ill for sometime. She was a native of Owen County and lived here a number of years where her children were reared.
Survivors include the following children: Delbert, of Romney; Mrs. Millie Baker, of Linden; Mrs. Anna Knott, of Lafayette; Mrs. Elizabeth Woods, living in Ohio; Ben, of Gary; Howard (Mose) of Martinsville and Mrs. Rosie Gerkin, of Indianapolis.
The body was brought to the West and son Funeral Home Tuesday evening. As we go to press early Wednesday morning it is understood that funeral rites will be held sometime Friday and interment will be made in Riverside Cemetery.
