Daughter of Abraham L. & Agnes L. (Peters) Ragsdale.

"Services for Fay D. Corkle, 66, of Notus, who died Saturday of natural causes at home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery.

She was born June 13, 1910 in Dallas County, Missouri. She came to Caldwell with her family and attended Marble Front School and other Canyon County schools.

She married Leo Corkle, September 28, 1929 in Caldwell. They moved to Ketchikan, Alaska in 1957 and came to Notus in 1964. They operated Corky's Cafe in Notus untill 1969. Mr. Corkle died July 4, 1970. Mrs. Corkle continued to live in Notus.

Surviving are a son, a daughter, three sisters: Alpha Chappell, Portland; Opal Annon, Meridian; and Elizabeth Landauer, Caldwell; a sister-in-law, Faye Weaver, Middleton; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren." per her obit.
