Myrtle G. Stoddard, 94, Lorenzo, died October 18, 1987 at Valley Care Center of causes incident to age.
She was born July 15, 1893 at Menan, to Oscar and Christina Poole Green. She spent her early years in the Goshen and Twin Falls areas and attended Ricks Academy.
She married Edwin Bolton on December 5, 1917. He later died. The marriage was solemnized at the Salt Lake City Utah LDS Temple. She married Lymond Stoddard on March 10, 1925 at Pocatello.
She was a homemaker. She served a mission to the LDS Eastern States Mission. She was ward organist and an active member of the LDS Church.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Stoddard of Sugar City and Merlin Stoddard of Lorenzo; four daughter, Mrs. Dale (Virginia) Fullmer of Wasilla, Alaska, Mrs. Foster R. (Faye) Chandler of Clearfield, Utah, Mrs. Gerald (Juanita) Nyborg of Rexburg, and Lova Putnam of Idaho Falls; a brother, Roy m. Green of Pocatello; a sister, Mrs. Oscar (Nora) Orstrom of Rigby, 32 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Labelle LDS First Ward with Bishop Orrin Welker officiating. Burial will be in Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
