Mrs. Lillie B. Friedly, 85, widow of Daniel G. Friedly, died at 4:45 pm Friday at her home in Quincy. She had been in failing health for the past three years, suffering with a heart condition, and was in critical condition since Tuesday.
She was a daughter of the late David and Clara Duey Gift. All of her married life was lived in Quincy where she died and all of her life was lived in Quincy township with the exception of a few years when she lived in Waynesboro.
She had joined the Lutheran Church at Quincy.
Surviving is a son, Brosius Friedly, West Portsmouth, O., and a daughter, Miss Francis I. Friedly, at home. Also surviving are two brothers, Charles Gift, Waynesboro RD3, and Arthur Gift, McDermott, O.
Funeral services will be held at 4 pm Monday from the Grove Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. David N. Finney Jr. Burial will be in Burns Hill Cemetery. It was her request that here be no viewing and that flowers be omitted.
