Mrs. Clara S. Gift, widow of J. D. Gift of Quincy, died at the home of her son, Upton V. Gift, 255 Garfield Street, yesterday morning, aged 70 years. She was a member of the Lutheran Church in Quincy and is survived by the following children: Upton V. Gift of town, Charles W. and Maurice F. of Waynesboro, Alfred B. Gift of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Mrs. Daniel Friedly of Quincy, also by a number of brothers and sisters.
Funeral from her home in Quincy on Wednesday afternoon, meeting at the house at 1:30 o'clock, where services will be held. Interment will be made in Burn's Mill Cemetery in Waynesboro.
