Grace D. Bailey, 93, of Lawsville, PA passed away, Friday, December 17, 2010 at Meadow View Senior Living Center, Montrose, PA. Born August 26, 1917 in Fairdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Nellie [Brink] DeWitt. Her husband Ward Bailey predeceased her on December 19, 1987. Grace was an active member of the Franklin Forks United Methodist Church & the Lawsville Grange. A typical day for Grace would involve baking delicious breads, cookies, pies & sweet rolls. She was known for playing piano by ear and had an active interest in national politics, enjoyed reading, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her daughters & sons-in-law, Diane & Robert Beyea of Lawsville, PA; Carol & Anthony Engle of Lawsville, PA; Mary & Dennis Carey of Montrose, PA; son & daughter-in-law, David & Marlene Bailey of Lawsville, PA; grandchildren, Amy Beyea & fiance, Chris Mellon, Emily Perkins & husband, Tommy, Nathan, Megan & Elizabeth Engle, great grandchildren, Ethan & Colin Legg, Hannah & Drew Perkins, sisters, Elsie & Doris Jones both of Fairdale, PA; nieces & nephews.
