Willie "Bill" Harriman, 80, of 60 Mission Blvd., Fayetteville, Ark., died May 30, 1995, at Springdale Nursing Center in Springdale. He was born Jan. 21, 1907, at Japton, Ark., the son of Joe and Rutha Estelle Neal Harriman. He was a farmer, a member of the Church of Christ, and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Mary Malalia Harriman on March 27, 1981; one son, William Keith Harriman on March 12, 1991; and two grandsons.
Survivors include three sons, Fred Harriman of Fayetteville, James "Pete" Harriman and Tommy Harriman, both of Springdale; one brother, Paul Harriman of Fayetteville; three sisters, Miss Joetta Harriman and Mrs. Helen Blaylock, both of Fayetteville, and Mrs. Lola Rogers of Japton; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 2, at the Tuttle Church of Christ with Jack Harriman and Don Edwards, ministers, officiating. Interment was in the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Kenny Harriman, John Moreton, Jeff Aiken, Rick Harriman, John Prewitt, and Harlan Harriman.
