She became the wife of Benjamin Williams on April 5, 1868, who preceded her in death, March 1, 1895. To this union either children were born, seven of whom are still living. One son, Joseph, died in 1901.
The children who survive Mrs. Williams are Mrs. Orpha McDuffie, Mishawaka; Mrs. Ethel Lake, New Buffalo, Mich.; Mrs. Bertha Bull, Michigan City; the Rev. Monroe Williams, Vicksburg, Mich.; Mrs. Bessie Crawford, Michigan City; Benson Williams, Three Oaks, Mich., and John Williams, Three Oaks. The house in which Mrs. Williams died was formerly a school house in which the Free Methodist meetings were first held in the Bunker Hill community. The building was later remodeled into a dwelling."
