Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sara Irene Hodges Tillman of Rincon; two sons, Curtis and W. J. Tillman, both of Rincon; four daughters, Mrs. Andy Coleman of Pembroke, Mrs. Betty Scarboro of Port Wentworth, Mrs. Elder Gilder of Rincon, and Mrs. Frederick Winter of Port Wentworth; a brother, W. M. Tillman of Savannah; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Bangiller of Pembroke; and 19 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at the Church of God in Pembroke, with burial at Fellowship Cemetery in Stilson. Morrison Funeral Home in Pembroke is in charge.
