DEATH OF O. J. BARKER
Mrs. Cora Cook and Miss Kittie Barker were called to Humeston Sunday night by a message conveying the sad intelligence that their father, O. J. Barker, was in a dying condition. He passed away Monday morning at five o'clock, after an illness of only two days.
He had visited in Chariton a number of times and had many friends here who will learn of his death with deep regret and who will extend heartfelt sympathy to the grief stricken relatives. He is survived by his wife and several children.
