Samuel Brown was born Aug. 12, 1833 in Clinton Township, Wayne County, OH., the 10th child of John Buckner Brown and Mary Almyra Calldwell. He married Mary on Nov. 4, 1854 in Shreve, Wayne Co. OH. then about 1860 moved to Bethel Township, Shelby County, MO. where they had 8 children, Willis Eugene, Mary Jane, Kit Carson, Lenora Alice, Alonzo Leroy, Arthur Ohio, Charles Vermont and Lena L. Brown. His last move was to Lincoln, Lancaster, Nebraska where he passed away on the 15th day of March 1904. His spouse then moved to the State of Washington where she resided with her children who moved there until her death. She passed away June 12, 1912 in Seattle King Co. WA.
