Bradford Mason, who retired to Cape Coral, FL in 1983, following 22 outstanding years as a member of the faculty at Avon Old Farms School, has died in Florida.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Freida, who was with him at the time of his death; three children from an earlier marriage, E. Bradley Mason, Clarissa "Cris" Barbee; and Stephen G. Mason; six grandchildren, all in the Houston, TX area; his mother, Beulah Noble; and sister, Jeane Jetton, both of Kerrville, TX; and sister, Elizabeth Creswell of San Antonio, TX.
Summer stock devotees will remember Mason's glorious voice as it shook the rafters at the late, and lamented, Oval in the Grove and Triangle Theaters.
He joined the Heavenly Chorus on Saturday, (August 18, 2001) at age 75. All services were private. Mr. Mason's photo is from 1960.
